This tour takes you to the Southeast from Dubrovnik, the border region between Croatia and Montenegro, region of rich cultural tradition and wine production.
You will visit in an art gallery where the artist herself will meet you, dressed in the national costume of this area, offering a traditional welcome – dried figs and locally made brandy. She will than show you how silk used to be produced in the villages of Konavle, and why it was so important and valuable.
Next stop will be made in an old mill powered by water, where you can see this old mechanism still working, and walk through the forest by Ljuta river.
Finally we will stop in the village of Pridvorje to taste the best and very unique wine called Malvasia. Our hosts are world champions in production of this particular sort of wine and happy to share their story about the commitment and success with us!
Upon request we can also include a lunch or dinner in one of the local restaurants where lamb and veal is prepared in the fireplace “under the iron bell “.
